Becoming a reviewer
We welcome researchers with a doctoral degree, or equivalent experience, and publications in their field. Register on the editorial system, choose the reviewer role, and list your areas of expertise and ORCID iD.
Guidelines
- Accept only manuscripts within your expertise that you can review within three weeks.
- Declare any conflict of interest, and decline if you recognise the authors.
- Keep the manuscript confidential and do not upload it to AI tools.
- Write a short summary, then specific, numbered comments; separate essential from optional changes.
- Recommend accept, minor revision, major revision or reject, and explain why.
- Tell the editor about any suspected plagiarism, data manipulation or ethical problem.
Recognition
Reviewers receive a certificate for each completed review on request and can record their reviews on ORCID. Active reviewers may be invited to join the editorial board.
